This public notice is to request suppliers to provide NTT with general referential information on similar products or technology prior to procurement of the intended product (mentioned below) by NTT. This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. This public notice is not intended to guarantee public notification of procurement of the product. (1) Name: Caller ID Display Adjunct. (2) Overview: This adjunct connects between existing analog customer premises equipment and wall telephone jack to provide users with caller ID information display and other functions that utilize caller ID information. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting caller ID information. (3) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. Once information is offered, these are regarded as non secret one, and it is possible that these information is opened to the public in procurement or used by others. NTT is not responsible for controlling, opening and using of the information. (i) Technical information: System configuration. Service features. Specifications of display unit. Memory capacity for storage of caller ID information. Electrical interface conditions to connect telephone line. Physical interface conditions to connect telephone. Descriptions about application functions that utilize caller ID information. Power supply. Functions available at power failure. Battery life (if power is supplied by dry cell). Control form for connected telephone set. (ii) Prices: Price of an unit. Price of optional components. (iii) Standard time of delivery after ordering. (vi) Sale records: Number of unit sold. Region that the product is sold. Names of telco to which products are sold. (v) Others: Development and manufacturing organization of the company. Maintenance support that the company provides. Active proposals likely to become useful for increasing NTT's business opportunities. (4) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procurement program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information, NTT will provide the list to suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have purchased the PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTATION relating to procurement of the product.
