41 -- PIONEER RPV TCU ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONING IMPROVEMENTS POC Contact, Anna Lisa Wilkinson, Phone (703)604-0903 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-95-G-0203 with Pioneer UAV, Inc. for the engineering services, analysis, hardware modifications, and associated data required to modify the environmental conditioning in the Tracking Control Unit shelter of the Pioneer RPV Ground Control Station. The engineering effort will focus on the essential changes necessary to decrease the electric component failures due to insufficient cooling. In adddition, the contractor will fabricate modification hardware necessary to integrate these modifications/changes to Pioneer system components. Pioneer UAV, Inc. is a joint venture between AAI Corportaion, Hunt Valley, MD and Israel Aircraft Industries, Israel, and is the prime contractor for the Pioneer RPV system. As such, Pioneer UAV Inc. is the only firm currently possessing the data and technical expertise required to perform this engineering and modification effort within the timeframe required.
