Officer, (310)268-3000 The VA Medical Center West Los Angeles intends to procure on a Sole Source basis a Public Health Specialist Team consisting of a Psychologist, Sociologist, Public health expert, Statistician, and Health Economist. The team will function as a Program Evaluation Center (PEC) for the UPBEAT PROGRAM. The team will be obtained from UCLAs'Health Services Department (HSD), because this department has conceptualized the initial evaluation design and has developed instrumentation and procedures to guide the project. The evaluation design developed by the UCLA HSD has already been presented at National meetings of UPBEAT and tested at specific sites.
