The 45th Space Wing is seeking sources to provide maintenance service for intrusion detection system at various facilities at Patrick AFB FL. Service period is one year (1 Oct 95 - 30 Sep 96) and will provide maintenance for all detection zones and associated equipment including necessary wiring to operate the system and for replacement or repair of parts that are defective and fail to detect an intruder. Equipment to be covered: Centrascan computer system, 256598 UL kit, 2983-612 DC Class B autoterms, 2983-002 autoterm backshells, 804454 twenty-four hour batteries for autoterms, P41616 autoterm transformers, 82666-016 power supplies, B2217-019 photoelectric systems, high security indoor contacts, B4013 duct traps, 7187-009 and 7187-143 passive infrared sensors, 7703-218 ten zone readout panels, 7703-118 five zone readout panels, cable supervisory units, control units, 7187-005 A/C communication modules, 7187-060 tampered quad PID, 7187-007 tampered qaud PID, premise control units and dual TAC unit. The contractor will replace, at no charge to the government, any equipment which fails to operate properly. Properly means the ability to detect an unauthorized intrusion. The contractor must be capable of responding within four hours (24 hours a day/7 days a week/365 days a year) of notification of malfunction concerning those zones or associated equipment protecting the SCIF or area designated for open storage of classified information. Within 24 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) of notification of malfunction concerning zones or associated equipment not covered above. Personnel assigned maintenance duties must possess a United States SECRET clearance in accordance with DCID 1/21. Foreign nationals will not be used to perform maintenance of any kind on this contract. The applicable SIC code for this acquisition is 7382 and Small Business size standard is $6.0M. Interested firms are requested to provide evidence of capability to provide the above service not later than 15 days after publication of this synopsis. A statement such as ''can provide'' is not adequate. While issuance of a solicitation may result from this survey, this notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government.
