The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division at Warminster, PA has a requirement for one high performance militarized multipurpose color display unit. This unit shall be a single integrated ''Dumb Display'' unit with a graphics/video processor that can be inserted, making the unit operate as a ''Smart Display''. The analog or digital video shall be displayed on an active matrix liquid crystal display with a viewable area of between 6.0'' X 6.0'' and 6.25'' X 6.25''. The Unit shall contain internal power supplies, necessary timing and control circuitry, and one or more growth slots. Internal bus data and control signals shall be connected to the growth slots. The entire unit must fit in the cockpit of a F/A-18 fighter and therefore must not exceed the following parameters: maximum weight of 30 lbs., maximum power consumption of 350 Watts, and maximum size, including bezel, of 8.25'' wide X 8.25'' tall X 14'' deep.
