Ph:(202)-267-2514 The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement to provide
replacement components and support supplies for combustible gas/oxygen
meters. These meters are required to be safe in Class I, Division I,
Groups A, B, C, and D atmospheres to prevent them from igniting an
explosive atmosphere. Factory mutual certification of the meters is
required to insure that they are intrinsically safe and functional. The
contractor shall provide the following replacement parts--brand name or
equal--for the Scott S105 Combustible Gas/Oxygen Meter: Combustible Gas
Plug-in Sensor (Scott P/N 40010161); Oxygen plug-in sensor (Scott P/N
40011080); Battery Pack Assembly/Connector (Scott P/N 40011020); Liquid
Crystal Display (Scott P/N 40011021); and Replacement Propane
Calibration Gas Cylinder (Scott P/N 400113033). The contract will be a
fixed price requirements type for a base and two option years.
Transportation terms are FOB Destination; delivery of items will be
required within 20 days of receipt of delivery order. It is anticipated
that an IFB will be issued mid July, 1995 with sealed bids due 30 days
after issuance of IFB. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
