Y -- CONSTRUCT BUILDING PAD AND INSTALL UTILITIES Sol R5-08-95-29. Due 080195. Contact Point, Contracting Officer, Pamela J. Thompson, 916-934-3316. Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to construct a building pad for a 28 foot by 52 foot modular building and install water, sewer, electrical, and LPG service to the building pad. Project is located at the Lake Red Bluff Recreation Area, 1000 Sale Lane, Red Bluff, CA. The Recreation Area is administered by the Corning Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest. Work required and approximate quantities are: 1) Construct the building pad embankment with 60 C.Y. of excavation and 1050 C.Y. of stockpiled material. 2) Spread and grade to drain approximately 500 C.Y. of soil remaining after completion of the building pad. 3) Close an existing 3500 gallon septic tank. 4) Install approximately 450 feet of 2'' PVC water line and 15 feet of 1'' PVC water line with appurtentant valves and valve boxes. 5) Install a 2 HP packaged duplex grinder pump sewer system. 6) Install approximately 450 feet of 1 1/2'' PVC pressure sewer line. 7) Install approximately 450 feet of 1/2'' steel LPG gas line. 8) Construct a backboard for mounting electrical panels. 9) Replace an existing 100 amp metered service panel with a 200 amp metered service panel, re-connect existing equipment, and provide a 100 amp breaker for future service to a modular building. Price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated issue date is 28 June 1995 with a bid opening date of 1 August 1995 at 2:30 p.m. There is a $15 non-refundable fee for special project specifications and drawings.
