of testing approximately 204 underground storage tanks, their
associated piping and line leak detectors at Ft. Knox, Hardin County,
Kentucky. The contract to be awarded will be for the period from date
of award through 31 December 1995. Three one-year option periods, from
1 January 1996 through 31 December 1996, 1 January 1997 through 31
December 1997, and 1 January 1998 through 31 December 1998. The
contract will be awarded on a source-selection basis, with the
following criteria to be considered during the evaluation process: (1)
Methodology; (2) Past experience; (3) Organization and current
capacity; (4) Schedule; (5) Health & safety and quality control plans.
These criteria are listed in order of importance. Offerors must also
provide certifications that methods used meet EPA performance
standards, and list personnel who are certified by the Office of the
State Fire Marshall to perform testing activities (Underground Storage
Tank Certification). RFP DACA27-95-R-0085 is to be issued on or about
3 July 1995, with a proposal due date of 4 August 1995 at 4:00 PM
