renovation and upgrade of the interior of Building 2012 on the main
Fort (one of the original barracks-headquarters structures constructed
in the 1930s). The intent is to be abate exposed asbestos and
lead-containing materials - demolish selected interior partitions,
doors, lighting, wiring, etc.: construct new partitions - add ramps,
stairs and wheelchair lifts for handicap accessibility to all floors:
provide new fire doors, paint all interior surfaces and carpet most
floors - and provide new lighting, power, LAN wiring and communications
infrastructure for the new use. This is to be the new administration
building for Public Works at Fort Lewis. Plans and specs available on
or about 16 Aug 95 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are
available. Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis
until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB No.
DACA67-95-B-2005 when ordering. Requests must be in writing and must be
received before bid documents will be mailed. Requests may be FAXed to
(206)764-6817, confirmation copy need not be mailed. Plans and specs
may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the
hours of 7:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Submit requests by 9 Aug 95. Estimated
dollar value is in the range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and completion

Project is 100 percent set-aside for small disadvantaged business. The
proposed contract listed herein is 100 percent Set-Aside for Small
Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Offers from firms that are not
SDB will not be considered. For the purposes of this procurement a
concern is considered a small business ifits average annual receipts
