(309) 782-8566, Contract Specialist The Rock Island Arsenal is seeking
sources that can administer the armed services vocational aptitude
Battery test to high School students across the United States. The
United States Military entrance processing command (usmepcom)
administers the armed services vocationalaptitude Battery to students
in approximately 15,000 high Schools across the United States.
Approximately 18,000 test Sessions are administered under the direction
of 65 Military entrance processing stations (meps) who coordinate this
program. Usmepcom is looking for companies who will administer this
test to high School students under strict guidelines. Contract test
administrators are responsible for the following, but not limited to:
Assembly of test session materials, supervision ofproctors, proper test
administration procedures, proper forwarding of answer forms to the
meps, the maintenance of proper test security, and to properly complete
various forms as they relate to the student testing program. The
contractor shall provide the test administrators, initial training for
test adminstration, supervision of the administrators and the storage
and distribution of all test materials for test administrators use.
The contractor shall insure and provide security background checks for
all test administrators. The contractor shall set up an organizational
structure to have a representative interface with hqusmepcom.
Hqusmepcom will be responsible for supplying all test materials, COST
and procedures for forwarding answer forms to the meps and scoring of
answer forms. Vendors capable of providing the required services are
invited to submit complete information about theircapabilities. Only
written responses will be accepted and must clearly state the ability
to provide the requested services. Responses must indicate if they are
large or small firms. Responses to be sent to: Commander, Rock Island
Arsenal, Attn: SMCRI-CTA (barba drebenstedt), Rock Island, IL
61299-5000 and should refer to: Sources soughttesting. Interested
parties must respond to this notice in writing within 15 calendar days
from the date of this publication. NO contract award will be made on
the basis of responses received, however, the information will be used
in Rock Island Arsenal'S assessment of capablesources. The Government
does not intend to pay for informationprovided. Acknowledgement of
receipt will not be issued, nor will respondents be notified of the
