Provide the necessary personnel, materials, equipment, etc., to perform Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity scientific support services for the National Marine Fisheries Service. Task orders will be issued on an as-needed basis for work to be performed at the contractor's facility or at the NMFS facility in Seattle, WA. Task orders will be issued for the following categories: 1) Assessment and Analysis of Environmental Quality (acquire, compile and process environmental quality data; conduct field sampling and measurement surveys; conduct chemical analyses of sediment and biological tissue samples; conduct trace chemical analyses, and conduct biochemical, physiological, histopathological, biostatistical, etc., analyses); 2) Living Resource Sampling and Related Biological Collections (acquisition and processing of fisheries and related biological data; design of experiments and field surveys; conduct field sampling and data collection, and data quality control); 3) Environmental Data Collection (acquire and process environmental data in fisheries biology, marine biology, biochemistry, and related areas; design of experiments and field surveys; conduct field sampling and data collection, and data quality control); 4) Analysis and Interpretation (data validation and quality control; data compilation, reduction and processing; data analyses; data interpretation, and theoretical analyses) and 5) Scientific Support Services (document preparation, review and publication; graphics, drafting; management of laboratory waste (hazardous, biomedical, non-hazardous); scientific and laboratory safety training; management of safety and environmental compliance program; provide logistics support for scientific programs, and provide scientific services with emphasis on fisheries biology, biochemistry and other related areas. The period of performance will be for 1 year with an option for one additional year. More than one contract may be awarded.
