For further information, call Contract Specialist Kristine Hostetler at 206-526-4546 The Government has a requirement for naval architect and marine engineering services to support NOAA fleet design requirements for Pacific Marine Center (PMC), located in Seattle, WA, and Atlantic Marine Center (AMC), located in Norfolk, VA. The scope of the work may include all phases of marine design and naval architecture including specifications and drawings, analyses, feasibility studies, life cycle management, and operational engineering for the NOAA oceanographic and fisheries research ships. Tasking may involve up to six (6) man years (one man-year= 2,088 labor hours) per year per geographic location. Multiple awards may result from this solicitation. It is anticipated each contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite qauanity (IDIQ) contract with a three (3) year performance period. Contract performance will begin upon award. SELECTION CRITERIA: (1) personnel, (2) company resources, (3) task estimating approach, (4) present and assured future capability, (5) management and quality assurance, and (6) past performance. The solicitation will be issued O/A July 7, 1995. A pre-proposal conference is tentatively scheduled for July 24, 1995.
