KOEPPE, Phone (703)792-8030 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a follow-on order under a basic ordering agreement with Hughes Aircraft Company, Radar Systems, to procure engineering support efforts to install and integrate the AN/ALR-67(V)3&4 Advanced Special Receiver into the F/A-18 E/F aircraft. Hughes is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AN/ALR-67(V)3&4, Advanced Special Receiver. As such, they are the only contractor with the unique engineering and technical knowledge to provide the necessary services to meet fleet requirements. See note No. 22 - NAVAIR Synopsis No. 40090-95.
