The recorders will be used to record dynamic test data in both the VATF laboratories and other locations. Each tape recorder must meet the following minimum requirements. Each tape recorder should have at least thirty-two channels analog inputs and thirty-two channels analog outputs with BNC connectors plus one memo, audio announce channel. Optional inputs through a D-Subminiature connector at the rear of the recorder should be provided along with the interface cables from the D-connector to BNC connector for each channel. The length of these cables must be at least three feet. The proposed contract was initially solicited at 100% set aside for small business and is now being revised to solicit as an open competition due to the inability of a small business to meet the requirements of this contract.
