This assembly is specifically used in RF Frequency Amplifer AM-6624A/MSC as part of AN/FSC-79. Currently the ARMY's source for this item is Varian Associates Inc. (CAGE: 99313) of Palo Alto Ca. The specification control drawing (SM-A-796407) and part number VA-19259 define this Magnetic Focusing Assembly, which lacks sufficient manufacturing data I.E. Test procedures, details for wiring of components etc. No further buys are expected for this assembly due to upcoming modifications to the end item system. If an additional source can furnish this assembly they must so indicate by writing to Commander, CECOM, Attn: AMSEL-LC-ED-RS (SLAV), Fort Monmouth, N.J. 07703-5023.
