The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS), 512 9th Street, Point Mugu, CA intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of 110 each Test Sets, Electrical Gun A/E24T-20 in accordance with P/N 1696AS400. Five (5) First Article Units will be required with in 90 days after contract award, with a production quantity of 105 units to be delivered in three lots. The first lot of 20 units shall be delivered 60 days after First Article approval; the second lot of 40 units delivered 95 days after First Article approval; and the third lot of 45 units delivered 130 days after First Article approval. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated. The requested items are used to test the M61A1 gun system in the F/A-18 aircraft. Production will be in accordance with Navy Drawings. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Point Mugu, CA. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about 21 June 1995 and close 30 days thereafter.
