This project is 100 percent set aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 8999, Services, N.E.C. The size standard is $3.5 Million. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, incidental engineering, transportation, and management necessary to conduct scheduled HAULING AND LAND APPLICATION OF DEWATERED DOMESTIC WASTEWATER SLUDGE and MOWING AND DISKING OF LAND APPLICATION SITES in accordance with all requirements of the specification and all applicable federal, Environmental Protection, state and local laws regulations, permits, codes and directives. Prior to award, the firm must be a Virginia State licensed SLUDGE LAND APPLICATION CONTRACTOR. The projected date of availability of solicitations is 27 June 1995. The projected bid opening date is 27 July 1995. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs in the Facility Support Contracts Office, SE corner, Bldg. 2034, Quantico, VA. The hours of operation are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor.
