Site modifications in support of the Department of Energy, Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) Program. The effort will involve the use of Subcontracor furnished labor material, equipment, tools, supervision, and transportation required to perform site modifications at the Big Hil SPR Site in Jefferson County, Winnie, Texas. The project involves civil, mechanical and electrical work, necessary for the installation of temporary crude oil and firewater piping systems and electrical power distribution system to service the operation of theportable/transportable degassification plant. This task can best be categorized under SIC 1629, Heavy Construction, NEC. The magnitude of this requirement is between $1 million and $5 million. A solicitation is expected to be issued mid-July 1995. Potential bidders/offerors must provide written confirmation of their interest in this task.
