U -- EDUCATIONAL SERVICES SOL DAKF40-95-R-0014 DUE 071495 POC Contract Specialist, ANGELA LOCKE EXT 230, (910)396-4362 This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Fayetteville Technical Community College, Fayetteville, North Carolina (state subsidized) to procure Educational Services for the Soldier Development Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the period 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 (plus 4 one-year option periods). The Soldier Development Program pro- vides academic instruction in job related skills and leader skill enhancement courses to assist in unit readiness, cross training and support readiness and training beyond the fundamental level. Contractor is to provide all labor, equipment, materials and supplies for training as follows: FAST (Functional Academic Skills Training); ESL (English as A Second Language); RTL (Read to Lead), Mission Related Language Training (HEADSTART); JSEP (Job Skills Education Program) consisting of: Auto Body Repair, Auto Mechanic, Small Engine Repair, Carpentry, Commercial Residential Wiring, Welding, Solid State Electronics, Micro- computer Repair, Emergency Medical Technician, Intro to Law Enforcement, and Heating and Air Conditioning); LSE (Leader Skills Education) consisting of: Typing/Word Processing, Automated Inventory Control, IBM Opns-Govt/Bus/Office, Counseling Skills and Human Relations, Effective Writing Techniques, Maintenance Mgmt, Supervision/Mgmt, CD/VCR/Camcorder Service/ Repair, RF Communications I & II, Automated Personnel Records Mgmt, Emergency Lifesaver, Energy Conservation, DBASE IV, LOTUS 1-2-3, MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Batch Files, Hard Disk Organization & DOS Utilities, Wordperfect 5.1 & 6.0 for Windows, Harvard Graphics 3.0 for DOS and for Windows and Analysis and Design of Computer Applications I & II).
