702/652-2532. Work consists of furnishing all labor, supplies,
materials, supervision, transportation, and equipment required to
replace refrigerate display cases, unit coolers, and supporting
refrigeration equipment; renovate and upgrade the electrical and
lighting systems; replace floor and ceiling systems; and other
miscellaneous repair and renovation work at the commissary located on
Nellis AFB NV. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $1
million and $5 million with a performance period of 270 calendar days.
The applicable SIC for this acquisition is 1796 with a three year
average annual small business size standard of $7 million. The proposed
contract listed here is a Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) commissary
surcharge purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the
United States Government. NAF funds are generated by the military
community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of
fees and charges for participation in military community programs.
This purchase does not involve Federal tax dollars. All firms,
including small and small disadvantaged business concerns, shall be
given maximum practical opportunity to compete for award of NAF
contracts. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all
business concerns as well as SDB concerns. There is a $30
non-refundable charge for each solicitation set provided. Payment must
be by Cashier's Check or Money Order and made out to the Treasurer of
the United States. Personal and company checks are acceptable but will
delay issuance by up to one week after receipt. Only written requests
accompanied by the appropriate payment and received directly from the
requestor on company letterhead, will be accepted. Requestors must cite
(1) the company name, (2) point of contact, (3) phone and FAX numbers,
(4) street address with 9-digit zip code, (5) their size status, (6)
the number of sets desired, and (7) whether they intend to bid as the
