The National Marine Fisheries Service, Beaufort Laboratory, Beaufort, North Carolina is requiring bridge repair for the Pivers Island Bridge. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision, independent testing laboratory report and performance in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to removal of deteriorated and non-deteriorated concrete, traffic control, girder soffit repair, pile cap/abutment concrete repair, bridge deck concrete repair, joint sealant repair, sea wall concrete repair, interior/exterior girder bearing repair, galvanized steel plates installation, epoxy injection crack repair and penetrating sealer on pile caps. The bridge is approximately 300 feet long and 25 feet wide with 6 bays. The estimated cost of the project is between $100,000.00 to $250,000. All work shall be completed within 105 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Plan drawings and specifications shall be available upon issuance of the solicitation.
