This effort involves the procurement of flight controllers for the Inertial Upper Stage vehicle guidance system. The associated effort for development and flight controller qualification was previously procured through Boeing Defense and Space Group with a period of performance through 28 February 1997. The contractor must fabricate Inertial Upper Stage Flight Controllers - Avionics Guidance Units with the initial unit complete by June 1996. The salient contract requirements are: (1) fabricate Inertial Upper Stage Flight Controller, (2) flight unit acceptance testing, (3) comply with all current system and subsystem specifications, (4) include management and technical support for procurement, manufacture and test of deliverable flight units, and planning. This is not a request for proposal. This is for informational purposes only. The Government has been contracting with Boeing Defense and Space Group for the associated effort for development and flight controller qualification with a period of performance through 28 February 1997.
