scheduled bid opening. The work includes replacement of a water cooled
chiller, pumps, cooling tower, fuel oil tank and emergency generator;
also includes providing approximately 300 tons of temporary cooling,
and incidental related work. The proposed acquisition listed herein is
being considered for 100% Set-Aside for Small Disadvantaged Business
(SDB) Concerns. Interested SDB Concerns should notify this office in
writing, Attn: Code 0212KP of their intention to bid the project as
Prime Contractor as early as possible but no later than 15 MAY 95. This
notification must include a positive statement of eligibility as a
small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern,
evidence of capacity to obtain required bonds and specific information
which demonstrates the capability to perform projects of this
complexity and magnitude. Complete information concerning management
experience in similar work and financial status should be submitted
with references. If adequate interest is not received from SDB
Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. In
either event, an amended synopsis will be issued indicating set- aside
decision and Bid Opening Date. Estimated cost is $1,000,000.00 and
$5,000,000.00. Estimated duration of the contract is 180 calendar days
