The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code, for this project, is 1542 - General Contractors - Nonresidential, Other than Industrial Buildings and Warehouses. The size standard is $17.0 million. This is a design/build project. The facility will be a minimum of 151,500 gross square feet and accomadate approximately 900 personnel positions. The facility is a five-story, triangular-shaped structural steel framed building, with masonry veneer and glass curtain walls. Exterior requirements include utilities, road improvements, vehicular access routes, parking, pedestrian circulation, landscaping and other site improvements. The plans and specifications define aesthetic, spatial and performance requirements and delineates required engineering systems. Design and engineering is developed to various levels of completion. The selected contractor will be required to finish the design and engineering services and construct the facility. Award will be based on price and other non-priced factors which may include, but are not limited to: Work Plan, Projet Staffing/Management, Primary Subcontractors, Design Team Profile, Corporate Management, Facilities Management System, and Past Performance. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the plans and specs in the Plans and Specs Office, 1st Floor, Building 212. Please note that the plans and specs will be issued on a ''first come, first serve'' basis. The projected date for issuance is 19 June 1995.
