In addition to work described in Synopsis No. 95-01, the project now includes furnishing and installing traffic control structures, lights, and controls. The following construction work is involved: excavate for foundations; remove and replace bituminous pavement; construct concrete traffic island; install pole, traffic light, luminaire, pedestrian push-buttons, traffic controller and cabinet, traffic signs, and pavement markersand striping; construct electrical and grounding systems; and provide owner training. The requirement to construct a kiosk and miscellaneous items necessary for the completion of the Hoover Dam Visitor Center is still included in this project. The estimated cost range of this project is now $250,001 to $500,000. The location of this project is at Hoover Dam which is located on the Colorado River approximately 7 miles northeast of Boulder City, Nevada, and 32 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada. The work is located in Clark County, Nevada. The performance time for completion of this project is 180 calendar days. The presolicitation notice (SF-1417) for this project is currently available. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered for award. For this acquisition the standard industrial classification code remains 1542 and the small business size standard is $17 million. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is July 5, 1995, and the estimated date for receipt of bids is August 8, 1995. Solicitation copies can be viewed without charge at the Bureau of Reclamation, Management and Services Office, Nevada Highway and Park Street, Annex Building, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. There is a nonrefundable charge of $25 for the above solicitation. Only written requests received directly from the requestor will be accepted.
