Sealed bids will be accepted from all business concerns for Michigan Forest Higway Project MI PFH 16-5(15), in Iron County, Michigan, consisting of roadway rehabilitation to widen and improve the roadway alignment, including grading, drainage, aggregate base, hot asphalt concrete pavement, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Roadway Excavation, 240,000 CUYD; Subbase and Aggregate Base, 90,000 Ton; Aggregate Surface Course, 17,000 Ton; Hot asphalt concrete pavement, 6,000 Ton; Furnishing and Placing Topsoil, 150,000 SQYD. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $2,000,000 and has a construction completion date of October 31, 1996.
