219-8706. Architectural/Engineering services for the bidding process
and the construction administration phase for a new dormitory building,
a new gymnasium/recreation facility, and potable water and propane fuel
distribution upgrade at the Iroquois Civilian Conservation Center
located in Medina, New York. Services shall include Construction
Contract Administration, including Shop Drawings Submittal Reviews;
Construction Site Visit; and Project Close-Out. Estimated time for
construction is approximately twelve (12) months. Estimated
construction cost range is $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Principal
disciplines required are Architectural, Structural, Civil, Mechanical
and Electrical. Submissions of SF 254 and SF 255 is required for the
prime and a SF 254 for EACH CONSULTANT (SF 254 required even if it is
currently on file). Firms desiring consideration are required to submit
BOTH SF 254's and SF 255's by 2:00 p.m. local time July 3, 1995.
Failure to submit both SF 254's and SF 255 will render the submission
nonresponsive. Pertinent factors for consideration of qualifications
listed in order of importance are: (1) Experience, (2) Staff, (3)
Location (Preference will be given in the following descending order:
(a) Local firms, (b) In-State, (c) Out-of-State, (4)
Experience/Performance with government contracts, and (5) Present
Workload. Include the solicitation number of this CBD Notice with
location/area name in Block one (1) of the SF 255. Women-owned and
Minority-owned firms are encouraged to partcipate. The SIC code is
8712. The submitting firms should indicate in Block 10 of the SF 255
that it is a Small Business. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists
of the construction of two (2) new buildings, demolition of two (2)
existing buildings, and the renovation and upgrade of potable water
distribution system and propane fuel distribution system. New
construction consists of: One story Gymnasium/Recreation facility with
mechanical mezzanine (23,330 GSF); One story and basement Dormitory
for 136 beds (23,000 GSF). Demolition consists of: One story infirmary
building; One story Dormitory building. Renovation work consists of:
Completed potable water system including, storage tanks, foundation,
booster pumps, distribution main and connection to existing buildings
services; Complete gas distribution system connecting to existing mains
from propane storage tanks and connection to existing building
