for an indefinite quantity of a commercially available handheld Lithium
Battery State-of-Charge Meter in accordance with a Statement of Work to
be provided. New meter is intended to augment or replace the existing
TS-4403 A/U Meter. Solicitation shall request proposals for two meters.
One to test the BA-5112/U Battery only and one to test other Lithium
Sulfur Dioxide Batteries, BA-5598/U, BA-5590/U, BA-5847/U, BA-5588/U,
BA-5600/U, and BA-5800/U. Proposed requirements contract will contain
a four-year order period with ranged quantities for up to 500 units for
the BA-5112/U meter and up to 1500 units for the ''Universal'' meter
over the period. Hardware samples shall be required with proposals.
Award shall be made to the proposal offering the best value to the
government. The US Army Communications Command (CECOM) has established
an Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal
of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from
Government to Industry. AS OF 1 JANUARY 1995, HARD COPIES WILL NO
LONGER BE DISTRIBUTED. (Exceptions are Post, Camp and Station
Acquisitions). All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM
are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM
EBB system. To become a user of the EBB, you will need an
identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal
equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the
EBB system. Detailed information regarding system requirements is
contained in the US Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A User's Manual,
Identification Code and Password will be issued upon request. All
requests must include 1) Company Name, 2) Point(s) of contact, name(s)
and title(s), 3) return address(es) and 4) telephone number(s). Please
