SOL DECA01-95-R-0045 DUE 071795 POC Contract Specialist Eugene Gray (804) 734-8608 (Site Code DECA01) The Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee, VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Hobart Corporation on a sole source basis for the purchase and installation of Hobart's Scale/Labeler/Wrapping Systems, U-Shaped, and existing label, wrapper system components for DeCA's commissary meat departments. Equipment to include: (1). Automatic Wrapper, Hobart's Model ESW256; (2). Ultima Scale System, Hobart's Model Ultima-2000I1 (3). Mobile Accumulator Bin, Rotary Type, Hobart's Model RB-6; (4). Power Conveyor, 90 degree, Hobart's Model 0925-0327; (5). Straight Gravity Conveyor, 24'', Hobart's Model 24GS-ROLCON; (6). Platter Stand, Type: FM; and (7). Thermal Label Applier, Hobart's Model ILASSTE-3. To maintain compatibility with the existing Hobart's ESW25AP, with Ultima 2000I1 scale systems used in the Defense Commissary Agency's meat departments, all equipment must be compatible with the existing Hobart's scale equipment. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Contract period of performance will be August 1, 1995 through August 1, 1996, plus one option year.
