35 -- ACQUISITION OF TOLEDO'S SCALE/LABELER/WRAPPER SYSTEMS AND COMPONENTS FOR DECA'S COMMISSARY MEAT DEPARTMENTS. SOL DECA01-95-R-0030 DUE 071795 POC Contract Specialist Eugene Gray (804) 734-8608 (Site Code DECA01) The Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee, VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Mettler-Toledo on a sole source basis for the purchase and installation of Toledo's Scale/Labeler/Wrapper Systems, U-Shaped, and existing label, wrapper system components for DeCA's commissary meat departments. Equipment to include: (1). Automatic Wrapper, Toledo's Model 644-0210; (2). Scale System, Toledo's Model 8305-3001; (3). Mobile Accumulator Bin, Rotary Type, Toledo's Model 0925-0135; (4). Power Conveyor, Toledo's Model 0925-0327, (Left to Right); and/or Model 0925- 0328, (Right to Left); (5). Automatic Labeler, Toledo's Model 606. To maintain compatibility with the existing Toledo's Automatic Wrapper, Model 644-0210 scale systems used in the Defense Commissary Agency's meat departments, all equipment must be compatible with the existing Toledo's scale equipment. Award of a Firm Fixed Price contract is contemplated. Contract period of performance will be August 1, 1995 through August 1, 1996, plus one option year. Proposals for equivalent items shall include descriptive literature and be submitted within 15 days after this synopsis is published.
