Work shall include the replacing of 38 General Electric mechanical power circuit breaker tripping mechanisms with state of the art General Electric electronic units, or equal. The load center housed General Electric power circuit breakers to be retrofitted are located to three secured technical site buildings at Clear AS. Each circuit breaker contains three mechanical tripping units which are to be replaced by the new electronic units. Due to the mission criticality of some of the power circuit breakers involved, the work must adhere to a rigid schedule as defined in the specifications. Performance period shall be 60 calendar days. SIC code is 1731. The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. This action is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should notify this office, in writing with supporting documents such as references and qualifications for a similar project, of their intent to bid as a prime contractor as early as possible but not later than 21 Jun 95.
