Work includes, but is not limited to replacement of cracked brick and mortar joints; restoration of brick mortar joints; removal and replacement of building sealants in capstones and sills, around windows and doors, and in control and expansion joints; removal of sun screens; replacement of window glass; removal and installation of solar film; installation of lighting arresters; painting; replacement of architectural precast concrete; cleaning of building exteriors; repair of cracked reinforced concrete walls; and installation of miscellaneous steel members. The successful offeror will be required to meet special standards of responsibility as follows: (1) Demonstrated three (3) years experience in building waterproofing and building restoration; and (2) Demonstration that at least three (3) projects have been performed replacing building sealant systems and restoration of exterior brick masonry. The estimated cost range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. A bid bond will be required. Subsequently, payment and performance bonds will be required from the successful offeror. Solicitation package 95-148 will be available on or about June 20, 1995 at a nonrefundable fee of $30.00 per package. Checks must be made payable to the Secretary of the Treasury.
