Work to include: removal of existing boiler heating system and roof top air conditioning system, remove granulated modified bitumen roof and replace with fully adhered roofing system. Asbestos removal required for boiler removal. Some minor interior architectural and electrical work required. New HVAC will be a two-fan double duct system for both heating and cooling. Magnitude of project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Project is under consideration for Small Disadvantaged Business Set-Aside. Interested concerns should as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days after publication of this notice, indicate interest in bidding as prime or as a subcontractor on the project, evidence of capability to perform, including references for similar work with contract numbers, points of contact, telephone numbers, and if appropriate, a positive statement of eligibility as a small, socially, and economically disadvantaged business concern. In addition, dollar amount of construction bonding capability is required. The Contracting Officer will utilize the information received to make a decision to insure this solicitation is set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) or as ``Unrestricted'' without further notice. Therefore, replies to this notice are requested from all interested business concerns as well as SDB concerns.
