Scope of work consists of erecting approximately a 30' high steel framed structure at the former washrack location on the 482 FW aircraft parking ramp. A metal roof deck shall be attached to the steel frame system. Water and power shall be provided to the structure for hoses and explosion-proof lighting. Effluent from the aircraft washrack shall be directed to the existing oil/water separator at Building 4709. Approximate size of structure is 50' W x 70' L with sufficient roof overhang to shield against sunshine and windblown rain; structure is open on all sides. The SIC Code is 1761. Magnitude of construction is $25,000 to $100,000. Project performance period is 60 calendar days. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued o/a 08 Aug 95. Dates are for estimating purposes only and may be revised as indicated in the IFB. The proposed contract listed here is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns. Interested SDB concerns should, but not later than 15 calendar days from the publication date of this notice indicate interest in this acquisition by providing to the Contracting Officer above, written evidence of capability to perform and a written Certification of Eligibility as a small, socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest and evidence is not received from SDB concerns, the solicitation will then be issued on an unrestricted basis to large and small business concerns, as well as SDB concerns.
