Sources sought. This is a market survey for commercial/industrial firms
capable/interested in providing/modifying existing equipment,
fabricating, testing, and installing crushing/compaction equipment to
separate napalm (see note below) from its delivery canister. This is a
request for information only, and does not obligate a procurement
action. Interested firms should submit a statement of qualifications to
include: 1) description(s) of the firm's existing relevant equipment,
2) capabilities and, 3) description of relevant experience. An
information package is available (by sending a written request on firm
letterhead via FAX 509-372-0810 to the POC named above) which includes
a description of material characteristics and canister dimensions.
Note: Napalm is not an explosive. Napalm is a viscous, flammable liquid
containing polystyrene, benzene, and gasoline. The delivery canister is
approximately 10 feet in length, 1 1/2 feet in diameter, and is
