The work consists of complete construction of one classroom building (approximately 13,540 SF). Specific items of work include sitework, site demolition, paving, storm drainage, landscaping, site utilities, cast-in-place concrete, masonry, structural steel, light gauge metal framing, ornamental metal work, finish carpentry, synthetic stucco, prefabricated metal roofing, aluminum storefront system, metal doors and frames, finish hardware, drywall, carpeting, resilient tile and ceramic tile flooring, painting and wall covering, miscellaneous specialties, operable panel partitions, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related incidental work. Also included Base Bid shall be the entire work complete in accordance with the drawings and specifications for classroom bulding and related site work, landscaping and ancillary work, but not including work indicated or specified to be provided under any of the other bid items. There will be one (1) 90 day option as follows: Option 1 shall be the addition of the following, complete in accordance with the requirements specified hereinafter: Parking lot and related site work, landscaping and ancillary work. Except when it is determined in accordance with FAR 17.206(b) not to be in the Government's best interests, the Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirements.
