published in the Commerce Business Daily on 27 April 1995, and with
corrections of subject announcement on 10 May 1995. Those firms who
have previously submitted their requests in writing or fax requests for
a copy of the subject solicitation, no need to re-submit their
requests. Please note the due date for Solicitation N62474-95-R-2543 is
Thursday, 29 June 1995, 2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time. All other
items remain unchanged. The following is the original CBD announcement
which first appeared on 27 April 1995: Engineering Field Activity,
West intends to solicit environmental planning services for the
preparation of environmental studies and documentation for projects in
the Engineering Field Activity, West, Naval Facilities Engineering
Command, San Bruno, California region consisting principally of
California exclusive of Southern California, and Nevada. This is a Firm
Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity contract, under which individual
Delivery Orders will be issued for specific project tasking. All
projects will require essentially the same basic professional skills.
The environmental studies and documentation shall include studies
needed for and preparation of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments and Environmental
Impact Statements, and resource-specific studies and reports, in but
not limited to the categories of biological resources (including
wildlife, fisheries, and marine); wetlands; cultural resources; water
and sediment resources and tests; noise; air quality; human
environmental resources including land use, traffic, socioeconomic,
utilities, schools, and public services; public health and safety
including operations impacts and hazardous materials; and other related
resources as appropriate. The work effort may include NEPA
documentation for Navy base closures and realignments but includes all
proposed Navy actions within the region covered by this contract,
focusing on California and Nevada, and other states as may be related
to Engineering Field Activity, West actions. The estimated start date
for this contract is October 1995. Contract term will be for a base
period of twelve months with two pre-priced options. Initial award of
this indefinite quantity contact will be for the base year only with
delivery orders issued on an ''as-needed'' basis. Minimum guarantee is
$25,000. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED. The Standard industrial
Code (SIC) is 8742 and the related small business standard is
$5,000,000.00. Selection will be based on price and technical
considerations in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations 15.6.
RFP N62474-95-R-2543 will be available on or about 15 May 1995.
Proposal due date is on or about 21 June 1995 with anticipated award on
