This specification is for an inertial component test system, based upon a single-axis precision rate and position table, to be used in the testing of inertial components such as the ring laser gyroscope, the fiber optic gyroscope and various single-axis and triad accelerometers. Precise control and readout of acceleration, rate and position are required, both manually, by keyboard entry and digital display, and by direct coupling of the system, through an IEEE-488 interface, to digital control and data acquisition electronics. Low axis runout and wobble are required. Environmental temperature control proximate to the Unit Under Test (UUT) is also required. Please see solicitation for complete specifications.
