Mosley, Contract Specialist, (202) 366-9570 The objective of this requirement is to obtain the necessary personnel, facilities, materials, equipment and services to perform compliance testing and reporting services to determine conformance with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 119, ''New Pneumatic Tires For Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars''. Bidders must have the necessary testing facilities, materials and equipment capable of meeting the testing requirements as specified by the Solicitation and the Laboratory Test Procedures TP-119-04 Dated May 1988. The Government may require a demonstration test at the Offeror's expense prior to Contract Award using the Testing Facilities, Materials, Personnel, and Equipment that the Offeror proposes to use in the performance of the Contract. No Subcontracting will be permitted. Manufacturers of Vehicles and/or components to be tested are not eligible for award of this requirement. A period of performance for twelve (12) months with Options for four (4) additional one- year periods is contemplated. The Government reserves the right to make Multiple Awards.
