668-6274. Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary for the
Dockside Repairs to the USCGC MOHAWK. Work for these Dockside repairs
is to be performed at the vessel's homepier, Key West FL. The work
which may be performed includes but may not be limited to the following
minimum items: 1. Overhaul Hangar Drive Mechanisms and Hangar Door 2.
Preserve Flight Deck 3. Renew Deck Covering 4. Stage Main Mast 5. Clean
and Inspect Diesel Fuel, JP-5 Fuel, and Lube oil Tanks 6. Clean Various
Shipboard Ventilation Systems 7. Relocate Oily Waste Holding Tank
Sounding Tube 8. Renew Helicopter Hangar Plating 9. Renew stuffing
Tubes 10. Renew Watertight Fitting and Strengthen Forecastle Deck.
Proposed contract will also contain idefinite items including, but not
limited to: 1. Welding Repairs 2. Preserve sewage and Grey Water
Collection and Holding Tank(s) 3. Ultrasonic Testing--USCGC MOHAWK's
hompier is Key West, Florida--Vessel is 270 Feet in Length--USCGC
MOHAWK's Availability Schedule is 11 September 1995--There will be a
non-refundable charge required in the form of a certified check or
money order made payable to the U. S. Coast Guard in the of $100.00 for
requested drawings and publications--The proposed contract listed here
is open to both large and small businesses--Plans and specifications
will be issued on or after 16 June 1995--All responsible sources may
submit a bid which shall be considered by the United States Coast
