The Government will provide two hundred eighty (280) coupons for fatigue testing of six (6) different metallic coatings appliedto two (2) different substrate materials. The contractor is to provide interim report every thirty days of the progress of the testing and the findings. The fatigue testing is to be done in accordance with ASTM E466 on a closed-loop servohydraulic fatigue testing machine having load and strain control. The contractor must be certified in accordance with the National Aerospace Defense Contractors Accreditation Program. The fatigue testing is required for the Naval Aviation Depot, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC. The place of performance is unknown. The contracting officer has requested wage determinations for the possible areas of performance for Cincinnati, OH and Lanham, MD. The contracting officer will request wage determinations for additional possible places of performances if requests are received in writing by 26 June 1995.
