Cultural resource survey of approximately 23,000 acres of lands on the Hiawatha National Forest in Alger, Delta, Chippewa, Mackinac, and Schoolcraft Counties, Michigan. Objective is to identify, record, and provide a prelimiary evaluation of historic and prehistoric cultural resources that will affect or may be affected by future land management activities and to record alternative protection/mitigation measures to meet cultural resource management objectives as outlined in 36 CFR 800. This is to include reviewing existing sources of information, conducting field surveys, analyzing results, and preparing a survey report. Total contract time will be 240 calendar days.
