Department of Agriculture intends to procure a pesticide track sprayer
and booth with spray pattern tester.The system shall include but is
not limited to: able to apply a small volume of material ((100 mL) or
a larger volume (~1000 mL), track for the sprayer should be capable of
operatingbetween 0 and 4 mph., nozzle tip through which pesticides are
applied should be easily adjustable to any height up to 30-36'', shall
have a timer to calibrate sprayer output and track speed, pressure
gauges to indicate nozzle output are needed to cali- brate sprayer, the
system shall be made of stainless steel, have a carbon filter exhaust
system and filters, with safety glass doors at least 1/4'' thick, size
- 5.5 to 6.5 feet wide, 3.5 to 4.5 feet high, must open to a minimum
of 48 inches and does not spray when open. The overall size of the
system shall not be larger than 6.5' high x 8'' wide X 3' deep. An IFB
will be issued on or about June 8, 1995. The system shall be delivered
to and installed at the USDA, ARS, Stoneville, Mississippi. These dates
are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package upon its
