Work includes construction of a two-level extension to the existing mezzanine in the high bay, room 1120 complete with raised computer flooring and all supporting utility systems; i.e., electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc. Structural modifications involve new drilled piers and structural steel framing for the mezzanine extension. Additional work involves construction of stairs, a multi-level caged storage area accessable from both the first and second floor levels and mods to the existing fire detection and protection systems. The period of performance is 245 days. Estimated budget is between $250,000 and $500,000. SIC: 1541.
