The Defense Industrial Supply Center (DISC) proposes to contract for the distribution of isotta fraschini spare parts covering the combined requirements of defense construction, Defense General, defense electronic and Defense Industrial Supply Centers to its Military customers worldwide. These parts are distributed in the United States by fincantieridiv. Grande motori (fdgm), CAGE Code 0VP52; which is wholly owned by isotta fraschini of Italy. The anticipated contract will require the awardee to maintain sufficient inventory to fulfill Military requisitions for isotta frashini part-numbered items on an ''off-theshelf'' basis within 7 to 23 days depending on the priority of the order. The basic term of the contract will be 3 years, with a Government option to extend the term of for an additional 2 years. Orders may be required to be issued eletronically. This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only one or a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C 2304(C) (1).
