Description of content: Tightened requirements for the design and scantlings of bowdoors - inner doors and other doors in the shellplating. Procedures for closing the doors, audible alarms and indicators on the navigation bridge, waterlevel alarms on Ro-Ro decks, periodical control of doors and dividing the seas around Denmark and the Faroe Islands into three zones based on observed significant wave heights. 7. Objective and rationale: To prevent loss of life by strenghtening and control of bowdoors - inner doors and other doors in the shellplating in order to prevent the ingress of seawater on the Ro-Ro deck. 8.
