Draft royal order amending the royal order of 15 March 1968 on general regulations on technical standards for vehicles, vehicle toilers, parts thereof and safety fittings (coach length - 15 M.). 6. Description of content: The Belgian Government wishes to amend, as soon as possible, its regulations on the length of buses and coaches, I.E. from 12 M. to 15 M. (outside limit). 7. Objective and rationale: Such vehicles without a trailer would not exceed the present length for a vehicle alone of 12 M. with a toiler, since a single vehicle rather than a vehicle and trailer is preferable from the point of view of road safety, Belgium wishes to carry out a nationwide experiment using such vehicles while maintaining the same transport capacity. The industry has been consulted on this project and gives its full support. 8.
