Approximately 7,300 feet of Johnson Creek will be channelized for flood control purposes. Project area covers approximately 26 acres. The project consists of widening the natural creek at three defined reaches into primarily a trapezoidal channel. The project involves roughly 2,000 feet of concrete-lined channel and 5,300 feet of gabion or a combination gabion/concrete lined channel. Project also includes two concrete grade control weir structures and a multiple concrete box culvert bridge. Estimated Cost Range: $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00.
