Service, maintain and repair the Natchez Trace Parkway radio-communication system. System is a VHF high band system with 14 repeater sites connected by microwave backbone links and 11 base stations. Repeater sites and base stations are more-or-less spread evenly over the Parkway, a 450-mile long road between Nashville, Tennessee and Natchez, Mississippi. The solicitation requires that the successful contractor provide, among other things: an on-site technician, dedicated solely to this contract; transportation for the technician; and test equipment, repair parts and a workshop. Contract will cover a one year base period and will include four one-year option periods. Solicitation package will be available o/a June 9, 1995.
