The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has a need to acquire 56,000 additional effort (man-hours) of ship acoustics and analysis support services under Navy Contract N00167-93-D-0015 by extending the ordering period through 28 February 1996. A continuation of support services under subject contract is required in specialized scientific and technical effort in the field of ship acoustics, acoustic technology, and advanced technology applications directed towards research and development, test and evaluation and immediate fleet applications. Negotiations are anticipated to be conducted with Vector Research Company, Incorporated, Suite 700, 2101 Jefferson Street, Rockville, MD 20852. CBD numbered Note 22 applies to the extent that the proposed action is for support services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
